On the previous card, the first Index View has moved to the word "FREE". That jump was done simply by clicking on the ^z button in the scroll bar's box, and entering the word to jump to. Then, the word "FREEDOM", visible in the middle of the first Index View, was clicked on. The Context View changed to display the first seven instances of "FREEDOM" in the database, each with half a line of context on either side.
Suppose that the fourth line of the Context View, which contains "ense is intended to guarantee your freedom to share and change free software--to", sounds interesting. A click on that line, and the final window on the Browser card, the "Text View" at the bottom, grabs a chunk of text from the database and displays it. The chosen key word is highlighted to aid the eye in finding it.
Please look at the resulting display now. Then, if you like, continue on to learn about some of the more advanced features of Free Text Browser, such as proximity search.
